Soccer coaches send estimates when a club, school, or parent group is hiring for a season, camp, or ongoing training program, and when a family wants to know the cost of a multi-week plan. Clients compare per-session cost, total season cost, coach credentials, and what is included.
When to use estimates: Use estimates to provide project quotes and get client approval before starting work. Once approved, convert your estimate to an invoice with one click to collect payment.

A season price means little without knowing whether it covers 20 practices of 60 minutes or 30 of 90.
Pricing and planning change with a group of 4 under-10 players versus 14 high schoolers.
Field rental can be a large cost. State whether it is included, billed at cost, or the client's responsibility.
Clarify whether league games, weekend tournaments, and travel are included or billed separately.
Cones, balls, bibs, and jerseys should be listed as included, extra, or provided by the client.
It sets expectations before work starts and avoids arguments over rain-outs and no-shows.
If you bring staff or carry liability insurance, say so. Organizations often require proof of coverage.

Typical US ranges. Rates vary by region, experience, and job size.
Clients like a single seasonal number but want to see it breaks down fairly. Show both, for example $2,400 for 24 practices, which is $100 per practice.
Present two or three levels, such as practices only, practices plus games, and a full package with evaluations. This lets the client choose without negotiating your rate.
Driving between fields, planning sessions, and parent communication take unpaid hours. Build these into the rate rather than billing them as surprises later.
Field availability and your schedule change. A 14 to 30 day validity window keeps you from honoring an old price after a season fills up.
Many private coaches offer one free or discounted evaluation session. Put it in the estimate as a separate line so the client sees the value and the normal rate.
Price per player per day or week, then calculate your break-even enrollment using staff, field, insurance, and equipment costs. Include a minimum enrollment clause so you can cancel or adjust if too few sign up.
A deposit of 25 to 50 percent at acceptance is common, with the balance due before the start or in installments. State whether the deposit is refundable and until when.
Only if the estimate says so. Include language that extra games, playoffs, or added practices beyond the stated schedule are billed at a set per-practice or per-game rate.
