How to match POs to QuickBooks bills
Use a consistent PO numbering scheme (e.g. PO-1001, PO-1002) and reference the PO number in the bill memo when you enter the vendor invoice in QuickBooks. This creates a manual three-way match between PO, receiving, and bill — the same process QuickBooks uses internally.

Can I import POs from this generator into QuickBooks?
Direct import is not supported today. You can download the PO as a PDF for vendor email and reference the PO number when you enter the matching bill in QuickBooks.
Will this work with QuickBooks Desktop?
Yes — the PDF output works with any AP workflow, whether you use QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, or any other accounting software.
Is there a way to track PO status?
Today our app saves POs so you can retrieve and edit them later. Dedicated open/received/closed statuses live in QuickBooks — close the PO in QB once the matching bill is recorded. Built-in PO status tracking is on our roadmap.
