Estheticians send written quotes mostly for bridal and event bookings, on-location group services, multi-session treatment plans, and corporate wellness days. Clients compare per-person pricing, what each service includes, travel fees, and how many sessions are needed to see results.
When to use estimates: Use estimates to provide project quotes and get client approval before starting work. Once approved, convert your estimate to an invoice with one click to collect payment.

A 30-minute express facial and a 75-minute treatment facial are different products, and listing time sets clear expectations.
Group quotes change fast when headcount shifts, so state the number of guests the quote covers and the price for each additional person.
On-site work needs a table, power, water access, and space. Say what you bring, what the client supplies, and what travel or setup fee applies.
Peels, microneedling, and acne programs are usually done in a series four to six weeks apart, and clients should know the total cost, not just the first visit.
Clarify whether take-home items or samples are included and whether home-care products are an extra purchase.
Quotes for advanced treatments should say that final service depends on a skin assessment, medications, and allergies, and that you may modify or decline a treatment.
Event dates fill up, so state how much holds the date, when the balance is due, and how long the quoted prices are valid.
| Service | Priced | Typical range |
|---|---|---|
| Classic facial (60 minutes) | per session | $85-150 |
| Chemical peel | per session | $100-250 |
| Dermaplaning (add-on or standalone) | per session | $50-120 |
| Brow wax or shape | per service | $15-35 |
| Brazilian wax | per service | $55-90 |
| Lash lift and tint | per session | $70-130 |
| Microneedling series | per session | $200-400 |
| Bridal or group event skin prep | per person | $75-175 |
Typical US ranges. Rates vary by region, experience, and job size.
Bridal and group clients think in per-person cost but approve a total. Give both, plus a clear price for adding a guest.
A basic, standard, and premium option, such as facial only, facial plus brow wax, and facial plus wax and dermaplaning, lets clients pick a budget without negotiating line by line.
A 10 to 15 percent discount on a prepaid series is common. Deeper discounts cut into your margin and can attract clients who never finish the series.
For mobile work, count drive time, setup, and breakdown as paid time. Many estheticians charge a flat travel fee or a minimum booking for on-location jobs.
Basic consults for facials are usually free. For complex treatment plans, bridal trials, or on-site walk-throughs, a fee that is credited toward the booking is common.
Fourteen to thirty days is typical. For event dates, state that the date is only held once the deposit is paid.
Write in the quote that services are subject to a skin assessment. If you need to change the treatment, send a revised quote or note the price difference before proceeding.
